Care Navigators

Our Care Navigators (Medical Receptionists) are highly trained and will use the information you provide during the triage process to direct you to the appropriate clinician or service provider.

All incoming calls are triaged by our reception team in order to assess the needs of the patient, this includes establishing if the appointment is URGENT or ROUTINE

Our reception team will ask for the following information during the triage process:

  • Detail of the medical concern and why you wish to speak to a clinician
  • Symptoms of the concern and when the symptoms commenced
  • If this is a new concern or a re-occuring concern that you have previously discussed with one of our clinicians
  • If you are taking any over the counter medication and will signpost you to the nearest participating Pharamacy First provider if appropriate
